i think i'm just being too picky with trying to find/buy a digital camera. i spent a good our at best buy...nothing seemed to jump out and say, "BUY ME!" but w/e. good things come to those who wait.

i just bought a nikon coolpix for $200. im really happy with it - its a good quality camera for a reasonable price. there are a lot of adjustable settings to get the best picture for the lighting and stuff. i think its the 2300 that i got. anyway, its nice.

I recommend a Nikon Coolpix 3200, it takes a little while to master using the shooting modes, but once you do, you can take awesome pics.

i ended up with a sony...5.1 mp, 3x optical zoom...i have a ten day trial on it...we'll see what happens
