I fuck everything up. I was supposed to turn in my laundry today, so that it would be done by friday-- in addition to my own, I was going to turn in some for a friend who's visiting and living out of a suitcase. last night I got everything ready, but I didn't turn it in because I needed one more pair of jeans. ok, jesse, not to sound like a complete and total bitch here, but you are freaking out about LAUNDRY. it's going to be ok, i promise, though perhaps a bit of an inconvenience. take some deep breaths! (though i totally understand how, when under mad amounts of stress, small things turn into big ones).

also, i'm jealous you get to send out your laundry.

glad to see Jeanine already commented on the hilarity of the fact that you don't do your own laundry. That was also my intention.
Hope the end of your semester goes well. Ping pong this summer?

hahahah yeah, I guess it's a yale thing-- my dad got it for me as a going away present. fr the first couple weeks I was really uncomfortable about having it done-- I would try and do as few clothes as possible to keep them from having a lot of work-- but by now I guess I'm used to it. oh, yale...

don't worry, I will reground myself over the summer =)

well, cheers for that, anonymous-- as you so astutely realized, what I really meant with that last comment is "yale is way fucking better than any other college in the nation, and this laundry service proves it." thanks for managing to make the fact that I don't happen to know other colleges' laundry services make it seem like I'm a pretentious asshole. Your comment was particularly well-deserved in light of the 3 prior comments stating how preposterous they find my laundry service to be; clearly, laundry service is quite common, and only an arrogant prick like me could think that it was any different here than anywhere else.
