My appointment is set for Wednesday. John was aware of this, John does not have the money. We cannot afford to pay for it, as we have insurance that is already a week late. And we have credit card coming up, and multiple other things to deal with.

I'm not really surprised that John doesn't have the money. Then again, I probably still have my lack of faith in other's financial funds left over from sometime ago and that explains why I'm not surprised.

I would help you out but I'm afraid that I don't have any money to lend you. Hopefully things will work out and you'll be able to get the tooth pulled soon.

There is some good news, I'll update this entry in just a moment so everyone can see it. As for being surprised, I am. As John was very very clear that he wanted me to get this done. I normally have a lot of faith in John.
