[Kanji approached the door to Nill's apartment, and after a moment or so of getting himself together, he knocks on it. Just what he needs too, a good ol fashioned distraction from things via helping a friend.]

[It would be a few minutes before Nill could come to the front door, since she was still busy playing nurse to her sick father. That's just how it's been lately, and it kept her rooted to the apartment for a few more days.

[Kanji walked in after Nill opened the door for him, wondering if they were going to get right into finishing up Nanako's present or not.]

[Nill smiled back at Kanji as she went to close the front door quietly behind them. Then as she was starting to walk back, she gently grabbed the edge of his sleeve and began to lead him forward into the living room. She wanted him to follow.

Once there, he would see the coffee table in front of the couch positively laden with stuff. An open sewing kit with needles and thread, bits of fabric that had already been cut out into various shapes and colors and unfinished doll shaped like a small bunny. The head still needed to be finished sewn together, and other parts attached to the body.]
