One of those wide mouthed syringes.

My sister and I have had to double-team my niece (I held her down while she gave her the medicine) before. It sounds sad, but it was necessary. I'm glad he's feeling better.

I was thinking about you yesterday. I need to practice my massage techniques, ya know. ;)

Happy New Year!!

Well, he doesn't like Pedialite much anymore. Too salty, I think. Gatorade seems to go better. I don't know if that would work, but I may try it.

The most effective method I've used with a dropper or syringe is to get the dispensing end as far into kiddo's mouth as you can without gagging them and squirting it toward the back of the throat so they swallow without thinking about.

I found a few other tips on administering mediciation to little kids in this article at Kids Health: http://kidshealth.org/parent/system/medicine/medication_safety_p2.html

Thanks, and I LOVE this icon... fart has become one of Eric's favorite words. He employs sound effects too, just in case you were thinking about acting like you didn't know what he was talking about. Toddlers are so direct.
