For years, I have been pondering the idea of shaving my head, just to see how it looked/felt. I've been buzzing my hair real short at intervals for some time now, and I really love the feel of wind on my scalp, etc, but I just thought I was missing something. Didn't quite have the resolve to do it until a couple of weeks ago, though. Having now

I, accidentally, seem to have a thing for hairy men or hairless men. (But then, shaved heads are quite common here... And geeks are often beardy, long-haired types. So it's no real surprise.) No one with normal haircuts.

No one with normal anything, though, really.

You're braver than me! The shortest I've gone is a 1/2" buzz cut after Mr. "I'll cut your hair for you!" left me with a couple nearly-bald spots so I buzzed everything shorter to sort of camouflage the shorter bits.

It looked really good after about 8 weeks of growing out. And I got to do fierce spikes in the meanwhile.

I would do that again today, but I've only got one of those dinky "personal trimmers" now instead of the good Wahl hair clippers I had at the time.
