I haven't got room for more art in my house right now, but I'd be happy to make you a piece! I work mostly in embroidery and quilts, but I've got okay drawing and painting skills.

How about doing something that challenges you a bit. Something you might not have done if I weren't getting you to do it now. :) Preferably something you have fun making too!

I've always wanted to try cut-paper collages in the style of Ida Pearle and I've got a ridiculous stash of sub-4" square pieces of pretty origami paper, so that's a start. Any thematic preferences?

Well, what I made is pretty simple, so just go with bare bones. maybe library or book theme.

I had thought I might suggest exchanging them in person, but my toddler is getting homesick enough that I may need to leave early. As your project is turning out difficult to ship, I may need to be creative...

Me, please! I haven't wanted to take my friends up on their offers, because I'm not artistic, but maybe I'll play along now. I'd like to see what you'd come up with.
