I think Teyla would totally have wanted to if it had only occured to her to do it... one of those things that's totally obvious in retrospect but since they have their own set of rituals that feels complete they aren't actively looking for more. Or maybe they'd be far more influenced by other Pegasus cultures than that, I dunno :)
