I, too, am rather despondent at the number of "I don't need to know the facts - I know what I know!" angry position-camping lately from people I had thought might actually be intelligent. From "both" sides of the aisle, and even from some off the media-nonsense bipolar spectrum. Bush derangement syndrome has met Obama derangement syndrome, and their offspring, anything-that-any-outlet-I-read-says-is-against-my-interests derangement syndrome, slouches towards Bethlehem to be born.
