Tea and a nice book, too, I should add. I've just started Rise And Fall Of The Third Reich by William L. Shirer. Despite staying in Germany before, it still feels as if I know nothing about its history. Espeically the recent century. It all seems like a whirlwind, but I'm just rambling now ( Read more... )

There's also Otto Von Bismarck, Prussian history, Martin Luther, the 30 years war...You're missing a lot if you're just focusing on Hitler.

Yes it does. I don't know why it would, but I guess you could call my stay there as an important transition time for me.

I did tell him that it would be lifted in about two weeks. I keep my word.

If not, I'm sure I have some around here...
