On full sets and the use of several prompts for one fic
We’ve never clarified this in the rules, and I’m sorry about it.
You can, of course, use two or more prompts and include them in one fic if you like to, whatever inspires you. :)
The 120 minute time limit applies to any fic here, no matter how many prompts you use for it.
That means it doesn’t matter how many prompts you use for a fic, you only ought to use 120 minutes (researching and quick editing not included).
For example, if you write for prompt #1 and #6 in the same fic, you have two hours for that, not 4!
The term 'full set' also needs clarification.
To get a full set, you need to have written a separate fic for each prompt on the list. Hence, a full set is 6 single fics (or 4 on a theme day), where each recent prompt was at least used once for one separate fic.
- That means, you can use prompt #1 and #6 for the same fic, but need to write another fic with either prompt #1 or #6 and prompts #2 to #5 to gain a full set.
To explain it more easily, imagine the stats post. We list your fills like this:
This is a full set:
Name
- Fic 1 (Prompt #1)
- Fic 2 (Prompt #2)
- Fic 3 (Prompt #3 & Prompt #4)
- Fic 4 (Prompt #4 & Prompt #2)
- Fic 5 (Prompt #5)
- Fic 6 (Prompt #6)
This is not a full set (it doesn't have a fic for prompt 6):
Name
- Fic 1 (Prompt #1)
- Fic 2 (Prompt #2)
- Fic 3 (Prompt #3 & Prompt #4)
- Fic 4 (Prompt #4 & Prompt #2)
- Fic 5 (Prompt #5)
- Fic 6 (Prompt #5)
And neither is this, as there aren't 6 fics:
Name
- Fic 1 (Prompt #1)
- Fic 2 (Prompt #3 & Prompt #4)
