(Also the 'shipper in me can't help but look at all those paint traps and think that while Springer's courting Roddy, Roddy might just be courting Magnus instead...)

heee! I think there is much courting going on here, but Roddy's is that kindergarten style that involves giving frogs and snakes to the object of ones desire ;)

Sharpshot's smoking corpse collapsed against him, throwing his aim all to slag; as he yelled a protest, what was left of Sharpshot's head detached and rolled across his lap into the ditch

He was found, of all places, by the observation deck. Not in the observation deck, but on top, on the roof, lying back and staring up into the night sky. The only reason Arcee found him was because she had exhausted all other potential hiding places she had to ask one of the Aerialbots if they spotted him during their last patrol
