(A/N: Another drabble, and I have little familiarity with the comics, so this is pretty much all fanon knowledge here.)
“...We are here. We are waiting.”
Sideswipe played the recording again as he reached the final stretch of the journey, the system’s sun rising over the the small, organic planet. He hoped, in some small corner of his processor, that they were there, that he was there, that he had intercepted the message before Sideswipe had, and was waiting for him, but he knew that it wasn’t likely, that when they had separated, Sunstreaker, his twin, had headed in the wrong direction to intercept the transmission any time soon. But, after millenia alone, hope was all he had left now.
