Title Sightful
Prompt Metallica "King Nothing"
Warnings None (Unless you count Angst)

Disclaimer I don't own Transformers (T.T)
Time exactly 120 minutes (I want more time!! >.< )

Wish I may turn this pain away. Cast it aside as rain from the sky.
Wish I might take a turn to change my life. Hold the reigns of control and look down the cliff edge far below.
Have this I wish tonight to never taste the fear that drowns me at night.
Are you satisfied? I died, cried, and fried from your lies.
Dig for gold, its warmth is dreary cold.
Dig for fame but it is all the same.
You dig to make your name a starlight saint.
Are you pacified? Can your thirst ever be satisfied?

Thundercracker watched once again as Megatron ripped the Spark chamber out from another Autobot. Through the dieing screams and battle cries Starscream's cackling laughter could be heard traveling through the blazing sky and across the battlefield. Their Commander was roaring to Primus in a challenge of will and strength.

What have they done?

All the wants you waste on your selfish gains.
All the things you've chased only to sacrifice your grace. Standing tall you are blind to your fall.

Then it all crashes down leaving nothing of your glory to be found.
And you break your crown in a shattering sound. No silence for the righteous.
And you point your finger as though its become a bee's stinger. Pour wounds with salt and it will not be your fault.
But there's no one around to take your fall when you hit the ground.

The city was burning all around him. He had helped in its final light show. Thundercracker stood stoic in the midst of the storm of change, standing tall and proud. He was making a change for the newer tomorrow. By his actions a new Cybertron would emerge from the ashes better and stronger.

But why did his conscious not believe it so? Why was the guilt so strong in his spark?

Starscream stood beside him, no...Starscream stood over him. Thundercracker was a puppet and his will was not strong enough to break the strings.

Upon the horizon, the figure blazed with the fires that engulfed around him cheering him forth as they danced upon dead lives, Megatron watched his home burn itself to the ground...

Just want one thing that you believed you've earned, or so you think.
Just to play the king is not enough to stay alive fighting.
But the castle's crumbling before you have the chance to run stumbling.
And you're left with just a name to hold over your head in shame.

Where's your crown, King Nothing? Did you leave it on your thrown as your kingdom is left drowning?
Where's your crown? Without it no one shall bow down.

So much death littered the streets. No one was spared the path of the Decepticon's destiny.

In his arms Thundercracker bared a dead sparkling to the stars, asking why a life so small and innocent could not be spared. Were they not fighting this war for the better of tomorrow? To change the ways that slandered their rights of yesterday? Were they not fighting for this sparkling's very future?

Hot and cold a life can only unfold. A better tomorrow can sometimes only bring sorrow.
Bought and Sold the highest bidder is your soul.
A heart as hard as gold and as worthless as a stone.
Yeah! Are you satisfied? Have enough lives been crucified?

Wish I might make everything right.
Wish I may find the strength at the start of every day.
You wish your life away through your greed and pain. Wanting for more when starving friends stand at your door.
Are you pacified? Can you see through your tinted sight?

For everything that he knew was wrong, Thundercracker couldn't bring himself to speak out. He watched the Decepticons become monsters and their once righteous mission now a mockery of lies and deceit. Starscream, a trine mate and close friend before the war, now a potential threat at every shadow. Treachery. Quicker to cut a throat than reach out a helping hand.

Megatron, a leader in strength and form, is a tyrant. Dictator and self-proclaimed master of the universe. Death walks beside him in a shape of a fusion cannon. Legions destroyed in a matter of clicks by a single shot. The devistation is quick and ruthless.

And Thundercracker was the worse. He knew he was because he wasn't stupid enough to be blinded. Where the others could not see Thundercracker could see all that clearly. Because of that Thundercracker knew he was the worst of them all.

He did nothing.
