... and i agree.

plus, i've never had a facebook because i think it's stupid and troublesome, so it annoys me that they've forced it on me here. i guess it doesn't matter that much, seeing as only two people on my f-list post with any regularity. everyone's pretty much disappeared.

FWIW, my Facebook name is not my real one, although they rejected the name I really wanted. But yeah, I can see how you'd be miffed.

My "lifetime" account went from my favorite space on the internet to one I only visit every now and then.

... I never linked either for the simple reason they are two different platforms for two different friends groups. There is some overlap but not much or I don't want any.
