So, with Craig out of the picture, I'm wondering if we should find a replacement player. I am not totally averse to running with three people, but we might end up missing some skill sets, most notably in combat, since Craig's concept had been closest to a "soldier" type than anyone else. I'd really rather not have a NPC fill the primary combat

Well, Shane and I had once talked about trying to keep Aquilavir in the game using technology (Skype, video cameras, speakerphone apparati etc.) Would be willing to give it a shot if y'all were. The only requisite is there is no way I'd be able to start before Autumn sometime when I start my new role and, of course, no guarantee it would work. Anyway... just a thought.

We'll have to play it by ear, but I am open to giving this a try. Since we'll likely be playing upstairs in the new office, we can use either Shannon's computer, or my laptop, as a dedicated web cam/voice server. In fact, I'm highly amused at the thought of a monitor sitting in your place at the table with a slightly grainy image of you in your house rolling dice.

Well, think on it, talk amongst yourselves and what-have-you and we can figure it out, when was your prospective first session timing?

I'm planning on getting us started around the end of July. I say this because even in the unlikely case that I get everything done before the baby is born, having one session and then nothing for the first month of intensive infant care seems a bit off. So, we're likely to start about a month after kidlet is born, with me in a creative, sleep dreprived daze, putting the final touches on it.

I'm very open to the idea that Alex would play remotely for what that's worth. If that falls through for whatever reason, or in any case if we decide picking up yet another player is desirable I'm amenable to that as well, though I have no suggestions as to who whatsoever.
