As a youth in the City of 'Greater' Sudbury, I have much that I would like to say right now. Most importantly of those things is: "Goodbye!". I went to Andy's cousin's football game and by the end of it, they were covered in goose poo.
A strange man came up to us and said that he was going to run for city council and try to get the goose hunt reinstated, or at least the wetland area near the field filled in.

....stupid narrow-minded idiots....

You fight the good fight my friend!

First of all, I completely and utterly agree with you. Right across the street from my house is an awesome bush I used to build tree forts in, go sledding, and just spend days playing pretend in. The person who owned the land passed away a while ago, and just recently his relatives have been selling off the land. This pisses me off to no end. Seeing a huge part of my childhood being destroyed and leveled, for what? A few houses, UGLY houses I might add. Me and my brothers actually went so far as to steal all the for sale signs and remove all the property markers they had put down. But the real estate angent got wise and instead just leveled out the land to sell it. I can't believe what people are doing to such a beautiful piece of land, and I know for a fact that the original owner of the land would not approve, were he still alive.
Thank you Steve for voicing the concerns of our age.

P.S. I seriously think you should send your post in as a letter to the editor.
