So, in the spirit of having the Carmina Burana performed on Wednesday, I've decided to post some of the more interesting lyrics from Orff's exciting composition. Orff got the words from poetry that was found in Germany in 1803 and was dated to around the 12th century. It was mainly about love and sex, beer and gambling, and fate.
