Now, I know I had a bit of a moan this morning about noone posting to Live Journal anymore. However, I did not expect to have so many posts posted for me!

It's very lovely of you all! Thank you!

However, the post was though a statement that it's not a regular thing the posts.

Let's make them regular peoples! :-)

I don't know this whole Dreamwidth thing is....

I don't quite get why people think Dreamwidth will be different from any of the other LJ clones that have been around. Because I can't post or comment from work (at least only on the iPhone - which means things tend to the brief) I just don't seem to get involved so much any more.

I think the problem is that LJ sits somewhere between a proper blog and a 'social network' and there are better things out there now for both of those kind of things. Back in 2003 when I started on LJ there was no such thing as 'social networks' and I can't help thinking that LJ hasn't really kept up with the way web usage has changed.

I think LJ has just kept to it's roots in a "if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it" kinda way. They have made improvements here and there but generally, the main way of using it has stayed the same. Maybe this does say something about it's longevity?!

I like the fact it sits somewhere in the middle. If you get sick of too much of one thing or another you can come here and find a middle ground and avoid the aspects that were fucking you off!

Well, I am going to a picnic on Sunday in Greenwich Park. I was going to ask if you were going to be there. But the bro is coming over on Saturday afternoon and I MIGHT be going to a club on Sunday night but that is it. Anything I am missing?

I forgot about Vagabonds. This is cause I know I won't have the cash for it! I get paid on Thursday of next week! If I can get something together I will go but I don't think it's going to happen! We'll see!

PS. We met at Cliff & Deb's wedding but I bet you can't remember.

I am sure we did meet but I remember that was a very hectic night and I was quite drunk by the end of it so I am sorry I don't remember.

However, I do remember there was a disagreement between us somewhere but the fact i can't remember anything about it, it obviously wasn't that bad! :-)
