When I saw this post I thought I'd give it a couple of days to see if there was some interest before commenting, and then forgot to come back, but your later post has reminded me (although it sounds like you know this already by now).

Anyway, what I was going to say was that although £150 was a good price from your point of view (although I wouldn't say a rip off), you would probably find it hard to get close to that in general, as there are very few people in the market for stuff that needs repairs.

So, especially on ebay, you'd probably get a lot less money for it or take a long time to sell it.

Well, looking here, you can see that new, these can go for about £250.00 so I figured that with the problems it has, that it wouldn't be an unreasonable price.

It does have to be said, it DOES still work. Just has the occasional problems.

Oh yeah, I don't doubt that and I think the price is reasonable, as I said. It's just that random people on ebay that don't know you are going to be wary of buying stuff with any kind of problem, so they'll probably avoid it unless it's really cheap.

Selling to someone you knows you and can have a look at it would get you a better deal, but obviously the problem is that you have to know someone that happens to be looking for something like that to start with...

Nope, I am using right now! :-) It's not so urgent now. I have had to cancel the holiday cause i didn't manage to shift it and I probably wasn't going to get much for it anyway.

Why? You interested?

it's a possibility, sir! I shall pass on the details to my business partner... I need a cheap mac deck to develop iphone stuff on later in the year, this might suit!
