After the PC crashing on me today and loosing the whole show I did, I managed to get fire up the laptop and the lovely Garageband got me through and I did a new podcast demo for the new show I want to do.

It is a classic album isn't it. God, it was one of the first albums I ever bought (I didn't start buying albums until I was 16).

Njord - pronounced Nyord - an old Viking god of the sea, fishing etc. Haha, I see that the special edition of their album contains a model of a Viking long ship model :D

I really enjoyed it -- the musical variety was great, it streamed smoothly and the sound was good. I was listening to it whilst working :) Look forward to the next one!

Bit late, but having downloaded this when you posted, I've just listened to it - thought it was good. If I was looking to be critical, there are some bits where the recording quality of your voice isn't what it could be.

I'm sure it should be obvious cause it's really familiar, but what's the track in the background when you are talking about Download (8 minutes in)?

You are totally right about the vocals and I found that out when I listened back to it on my ipod so I need to sort that out for the next one.

The track is What Goes Around by Sugarcoma.

Thanks for identifying the track. Vocals didn't sound too bad, just noticed they weren't as good as on the Night Nurse podcasts that I listened to before...

They aren't going to be really cause I have a shitty mic and we had a decked out lovely studio to hand for the NN show. Hopefully, as the new show goes on, I will be able to eventually upgrade equipment.
