I gave last week's episode a pass but this week's was more of the same. Dull. I had thought the Beatles on Ed Sullivan might have pushed the narrative forward but no, they are not mentioned. I had thought the idea of the new business, the new ad agency might have meant something. No again. Joanie is not really back and Peggy is as weird as ever.

I can't say I'm bored. I liked the episode. Joanie took command of the party arrangments and Peggy seems more sure of herself. Don is a mess but then, I am waiting for him to pull himself together. Or not.
And it's a relief after the over the top gross out gore and angst of True Blood which I'm thinking of abandoning.

As to "True Blood" I watched the first season and found it, for want of a better word, icky. I never returned. Too much blood.
