But I think she was a lot more precocious than we were at the time. I don't think any of us thought beyond kissing. We didn't even have our periods yet.
On the other hand, Sally is surrounded by sex and she needs more from Don, although he's a model parent compared to Betty.
Some folks on the Med Men boards are wondering if something happened between Sally and the dead grandpa.

As to Betty, could she be anymore ridiculous? Why shouldn't we have a sliver of sympathy for her? But she's awful. It makes the show bad not to understand her.

Oddly enough, I worked for the US office of a Japanese company in the early 80's, and at one time we did have two salesmen come in and the older one sounded like Roger while the younger one tried to drag him away.
