Moving

I've been working on moving for the past two weeks. This has been a slow process, because I have a more-than-full-time job, and various other items keep consuming time.

Now, I will preface this next bit with the following: I do not have nearly as many books as gwferguson; I do not even come close to competing with any small public libraries

See, you need to round up friends, acquaintances, total strangers, etc. and dangle booze and pizza in front of them as a reward for carrying armloads of stuff from one place to the other.

But I don't do booze. Pizza alone doesn't seem to do the trick.

I know one guy for whom I could substitute sushi for the pizza, and it'd work, but that'd cost me more than movers.

Not to mention, that tends to work better when one has better organization than I have - it would be different if I had everything packed, but I don't.
