The sea was lovely and calming, these long horizontal stripes of rocky beach and water and sky... and I found 10 pounds on the beach! so brighton was good to kilsy and I. Rachel and I were going to make delicious pies for Thanksgiving. Due to mix-ups with shopping, we're buying dessert... and I am sad. They were going to be amazing!

Today I went to a socialist rally. There were groups from all over Europe- I heard French and Spanish and Italian and Germany, and Anni recognized some Danish in a pamphlet. Church today in Westminster Abbey- an incredible buliding, and an ornate service. It was very calming and quiet. I was with other girls from my program but we didn't talk to each other at all the whole hour and a half we were there.
