i was considering writing a post soon about the exact same two relationships. now i guess i don't have to... if only i could kill the little green monster that lives in the back of my head :/
bah! must go study! i will attempt to banish the little green guy with german!

ps-- just remember, if you break any bones skiing, fight for a wheelchair! even if you break an arm or your nose and not a leg. people with broken bones need wheelchairs! and so do their s/o's!... yes. study now i go.
