Possessions

About a month or so ago Cory asked me if I had started packing for college yet. I said, "Um, NO," and looked at her like a space ship had just landed and she had gotten out of it. Up until now I hadn't even thought about packing much...and when I did, I couldn't really think of much I wanted to bring with me, other than the essentials--clothes, CDs ( Read more... )

i'm just assuming that everything is going to get stolen, so i'm not bringing anything of value other than my ipod, my laptop and some books. and the former two are getting insured.

Texas treats me the same way it treats everyone else: indifferent. That's mostly because I'm so much smaller than it is.
Living in a state larger than Spain is ridiculous, in my opinion.

And Naomi is a friggin' cool name as well.

I love creative writing, mostly poetry on my part, however. I have little patience, and procrastinate horribly, so writing short stories always seems a little out of reach.

By the way, my AIM name is: talkfalsettotome, and although I'm never on due to lack of access, I'm trying to reawaken the beast.

Right now I'm concentrating on Spanish, but I'm pretty sure it'll be impossible for me not to major in some form of English.

Have you talked to your roomie yet?

OH and a quick by the way, I have email!
you can contact me at : Way0Way@hotmail.com, and of course wcarl@middlebury.edu.

toodles

way

what i'm doing is: i've put very valuable pictures (like one of kia, one of matt, one of the group, etc. in frames as decoration of my room, i bought new posters just for my room, and i've taken all my pictures i used on my ad page and i'm making a collage on my closet door in my dorm room. i too have the same issue as you naomi- i've found so many little knick knacks that i've had forever and i've kept for one reason or another- my job this summer was to sort out which ones i will remeber why i have them in about 10 years and kept those ones- the rest i said my good byes to and sadly threw away- i mean i have notes written to me by ashley and julie walz from 7th grade, and all the paper plate awards from all the plays, and all this shit- i just felt like i could do without it and now it's gone- maybe someone will trash pick it if they really like it or something ( ... )
