Oh I loved this so much! And yes, Tom's dog did deserve to use the hoodie as a blankie (which was a very cute ending btw).

Thank you so much for taking the time to write kind words, am so glad you liked the story...And the lovely little doggie who trotted into the story all by himself (he wasn't in the tale when I was planning it in my head) and gave me the perfect ending :D

What a beautiful story! So simply told, but such powerful emotions. Really well done.

This was so sweet! I loved it!

I can definitely imagine life with Bill being like a roller coaster, and I love how you made both their personalities so big and life-like. And how you really made me feel Bill’s pain and anguish in the hospital scene.

And when love came for him, Bill was astounded that it would arrive in such a place, at such a time, without any warning, without any fanfare, without any frills. Like the battered hoodie Tom was wearing, the surroundings were plain and unremarkable when love stepped simply, but absolutely, into his life and heart and soul.

At the moment when Bill realized he had fallen in love with Tom, there was no rousing soundtrack, no changes in the weather, no band of angels singing, not even a drop dead gorgeous extraordinary outfit in sight.

Bill needed to pee.

What wonderful writing! It starts with a beautiful line that truly resonates and ends with a funny that’s completely appropriate. I loved this part so much! Well done! <3

Wow! WOW! Gosh, that's high praise indeed, thank you, thank you...Your comment is exquisitely written too -- the alliteration "What wonderful writing!"...so cool -- I'm thrilled that the characters came to life for you even though the story is short; that you were moved by their emotions. Thanks so, so much :D :D (twin smileys for you, thanks lots)
