So, me and dad went to the Oulunsalo airport today to see planes, suprisingly. The weather was greeeeat. When we got to the port, we started to look for good spotting places aruound the runway, and found a good one just in time to see this Finnair departure.
After the plane was out of sight, we started to look other places to see the next landing plane. And we wound a really great spotting place. It was about 50-100 meters away from the end of the runway, right under the path of landing planes.
And since it we had about 30 mins time before the next landing plane would come, I took some photo's around the area.
(yeah, it looked like this about 200 meters away from the runway.)
And there's the runway about. 400 meters away.
And we weren't welcome to the runway area. (and no, we stayed behind the fence for the whole time, so no illegal activities done.)
And then, the plane suddenly came into my sight, and I went to sat right nex to the fence, dircetly under the plane's path. And got this shot:
That was DC-9 of the airline Blue1. And gosh, it went about. 20-30 meters above my head, and it made HUUGE noise and HUUUGE winds. AND IT WAS SO COOL.
Krhm. Anyway, at the end of the trip, I photographed that plane.
The trip was so much fun, and I'm glad we got good weather. Might do this trip again next week since the busses go directly from our place to the airport at weekends. 8PP
