motherhood seriously is great. do you guys want more kids? some people feel like they have to have children of both genders or else theyre missing something, what are your feelings on that?

and sorry for all the questions but is ren short for something? i love that name.

No problem, I love questions. I think we're done with having kids. Rob is very opposed to more mostly for financial reasons. We both like that I can stay home with the kids. It is hard for me sometimes to think that I'm done with all that. The first year is so demanding but there is absolutely nothing like it.
But I've never felt like I needed a daughter, to be honest even when I was young I always saw myself with boys. I would have been just as happy to have had a girl though. I've never really understood "a boy for him, a girl for me" mentality. Kids aren't accessories.
Ren is short for Renton. It's funny because his middle name was almost Augustine (it's Rob's favorite name) but our parents talked us out of it, they thought the combo was too non-traditional. Then Eli was going to be Auggie but Rob's brother was about to have his first baby and said that he was going to use the name so we gave it to him...but then he didn't use it. I love the name Augustine and it seems to fit your beautiful little guy perfectly.

its funny to be honesy i dont think i want a girl. i just know what a hellion i was and im terrified to think of raising a girl in this day and age. they seem to mean ! of course i would LOVE one if God gives us one but im mostly scared.

i think his name suits him too. hes a sweet calm boy

I am totally with you as far as having a girl is concerned. I'd be terrified of the teenage years with a girl.
