I had forgotten how much I hate retail. I want to quit so badly. As soon as I land this next freelance gig, I am putting in my two weeks notice. People just want to look like everyone else, they want everything to "match" perfectly and they want, want, want. Which I understand, but being a thrifter by nature, I don't understand the urge to buy

Hang in there. I did retail for years because I couldn't handle food service, so I feel your pain. You know, you should try to find a similar position in a store that doesn't drive you (as) crazy. I did a pet shop, Joann Fabrics, a garden store, etc.

I think 2 hours at the Gap would be enough to push me over the edge!
