girls camp was great. now i'm home and it's a lovely day. don't worry... i'll do your pets, nat. i have les miz songs stuck in my head. yay. and i gave my talk and it's all done so we're all good, even though i have school in 3 weeks and have to study for the psat/sat whatever today because studying is fun over vacation

my mom gave a talk yesterday too-exciting no? and i reported on girl's camp. Bro. German is one of our high council members. He visited our ward yesterday and i gave my report on girl's camp..i didn't mention him (and how he and bishope noel scared some of us out of our skins...), but i was sorely tempted...*grins*

this stupid computer isn't letting me check my email for whatever reason I can't figure out! *goes to scream* but on a different note, thanks for watching my pets. Hopefully all is going well. we haven't done much, and the utah lack of humidity is making my hair be full of static electricity..it's grand fun. but it's way awesome to see people.

oh, sad. in that case, i'll reply and you can get this, eh?? okay... welll... first off, my sister wants you to ask your sister [emily] if she knows where my sisters charm thing is. the irish dancer that she left at your house??
right. second... we tried to get your TV to work and it just didn't. we could get the DVD player to work, but that was it. do you have any idea why that is? it was all static on every single chanel no matter what we did.
that's about it.. only... well, yeah. see you in a week.

It's because we have a complex system with the control thing on the bottom rack....you know the big black thing that is at the very bottom and it's not the DVD player or VCR? that's the control thing...and you have to make sure that the little arrow thing is on VHS when you watch TV. then it has to be on Video 2....and then it should work. I know what you mean, when it's all static, and that's because it was probably on the DVD player button...you guys didn't do anything wrong, it's just because we have so many things hooked up to the same TV. Did that make any sense at all? Make sure the things on VHS and Video 2 and that everything else is turned off. try it next time when you're at my house, okay

I'm feeling lonely...well, yeah. I've been basically by myself all day, but it's been wonderful. Now my grandparents and 16-year-old cousin Stuart are watching the Olympics, and I'll join them when the adds end...we're going to watch women's diving. That is the coolest. How are you doing? I didn't hear from you today. I wonder if you figured out how to work my tv. I'm sorry if you didn't.
And I'm sorry that your dad was angry about that. I should have left instruction beforehand. I feel very sorry about that. For some reason it's making me sad to read everyone's livejournal...I don't know why. maybe it's because livejournal is all I have because my email is not working. I hate this.

but I'm loving the weather out here. It's COLD. score! I've worn both of my trench coats just about every day...it's wonderful.

i have to miss riding in a week, by the way, i think, because we're going to my grandparents. but i'm over it.

well. what have i been doing? Reading. I'm going riding today. Hanging out with my family. It was Arolyn's birthday on monday so I saw her. Today she and my brother and her brother and i are going to the high school and junior high ... to see it and show them around. it's exciting. then i'm going to pam's house to help her move, and then coming home and sleeping. don't worry though. your pets won't be neglected. so i've been doing stuff and thinking a lot and listening to music and i saw sara and didn't go to mutual and i took a few showers.
