I want a chapter of one of my books to be made up of only a single, powerful sentence.

Uh-oh. Someone just accidentally endorsed "The Awakening"... ;)

I actually don't remember that part. Eh, I guess I'll check when I go home.

Oops. It may have been "As I Lay Dying". I think "The Awakening" just had a few chapters with really short paragraphs.

Good stuff, good stuff.

I think if I were to reread that book, I might just like it. I know, I know, call me crazy, but I'm willing to give it another chance.

... wait, what am I saying?? I take that back. I take it back!

... But on a different, more applicable note, yes, that is the kind of stuff I'm talking about. :) Bad book, good style. I read somewhere that having a one sentence chapter is a once-in-a-career move. *shrug*

to even suggest in jest to reread that book.

it means you read it once

oh the insanity!

well. they say you have to know the rules before you are allowed to break them. like hemingway. that man never writes a sentence. but he is allowed to be grammatically incorrect.

silly published authors just throwing grammar away. the corcorans would go insane if that ever happened

i make no sense

haha
