film and citiesI totally want to get a PhD in urban-film-cultural-critic-social-analysis. I love the portrayal of "the city" in all kinds of movies from Blade Runner to Sin City to The Truman Show. I guess the last one was a portrayal of a construct of suburban life

i have a running list of urban type movies, i need to start a list of "this is what happens when city people move into the country" movies. there's at least one out every summer.
