You know what? The phrase "you'll never amount to anything" is really disgusting. I'll endeavor never to use that phrase to anyone. I may fail, but...it's meaningless, cruel, and unnecessary.

My fourth grade teacher told me I'd never amount to anything. She was pretty incorrect, I think. Come to think of it, I've never heard of anyone saying that and being correct.
