I can't believe how many Claremont people are on lj. It's Wendy. We were roommates in the fall of 96... remember me? I don't even know how likely it is you're still doing the lj thing, since your last post was back in Dec, but I thought I'd give it a try. Anyway, drop me a line. I definitely remember you. Looking at your LJ, I guess you must remember me every now and again too, given that you stole my name for your daughter! (Or is it a family name or something?) I rarely write in LJ, and a lot of entries are filtered. I see you're still working on finishing college, too. What are you up to? Out of the military? And being a mom, which is pretty neat. No kids over here, just a wonderful cat. It's great to hear from you. I just got married (literally two weeks ago today) and I'm finishing college after a long break during which I worked at crappy jobs and didn't do much with my life. In any case, I'll friend you and you'll see some more entries, although still not a whole lot, I'm afraid. I'm really bad about writing in LJ.

Yeah, my mom's mom's middle name was Julia and her middle name is my dad's mom's first name, Eleanor. When choosing a name, we went through the "who do/did we know with this name, and do we still like it despite/because of these people". See, so you are still remembered fondly over here... even though we didn't really see much of each other.

Yep, working on finishing college (going for a degree in speech pathology), out of the military since 2000 (when my daughter was born), staying at home being a mom. Congrats on the marriage! What are you going back to college for?
