The Firefly movie is out? Or has the pace of "sneak previews" just accelerated to the point of being indistinguishable from a release? Of course, I still need to see the series. We've been planning a marathon for next weekend, just before the, uh, release, in theory.

I personally see more upsides to aerospace, but I'm sure it depends on the individual institution.

Oh, and while I'm here, there's some small possibility I may be in the LA area for a few days for work some time in the next few months. Burbank is close-ish to Pasadena, right? And meanwhile where's donaithnenthese days? I can't keep track of you people moving around small distances on the other coast...

The movie comes out the 30th, and this was the first screening that we went to, but it does seem like there are a lot of them. But yes, see the series, see the movie! :)

Burbank is, in fact, pretty close to Pasadena. Geoff is still living out near Claremont, but he works somewhere in OC, I believe. I'd be thrilled to hang out if you have the time while you're out here. :)

I'm so glad you posted! I like reading your lj. :-) There was a hot date 9/14 at the Westin in LA, but it occurs to me that was yest. If I go to LA you want me to let you know?

Being in school makes me read less
Me, too. Or, at least, I hope that's it. It does bother me frequently that I read less than I used to. For one thing, I've noticed my grammar declining as I read less professionally edited material and more LiveJournal and the like.

Oh, and I love the Condi Rice card.
