It has been a bit since I posted, but in that time several things have happened. I found out my hotel reservation was only for 3 weeks not 4 because on the Miss Universe pageant. I had 4 days to decide on a place, negotiate a Thai housing contract and move

Geez, the condo sounds impressive; our new house is *smaller* than it is, and likely costing us more in mortgage than you're paying in rent in Bangkok!
