Man it's a pain in the arse to solder something with only two hands. I need at least three, preferably four.

I'll need a finger donor for toe replacement surgery.

Man that'd be awesome. Monkey feet!

Have a look around for one of these things. I have one, and they make life far easier.

I used to have one. I think it's in a box in the garage somewhere, but even then I think it's in pieces. I had the magnifying glass somewhere too, in the house i think. Blarg.

Right up until they fall to bits, anyway...
But in general, the idea is sound. Clamps and clips are worth more than any ten fancypants CNC powertools. Useful tip, wooden sprung clothespegs are cheap, readily available and insulated. Buy your own or borrow from domestic suppies- but if Mel catches you it wasn't my idea!

I'm still working on irradiating myself to get those extra arms. Once I get them I'll share the plutonium with you if you wish.

awesome. I could go for a prehensile tail, too. It'd be good in the bedroom, too! >.>

The problem with that strategy is that you can not control what sort of tail you get. I'm pretty pissed because I have a feline tail :

Depending on what you're soldering, sweating can be a useful technique when you're running out of hands.
