[ History ] : Martin grew up in a slightly unusual family-his father is a field scientist, and he often took Martin with him on his trips when Martin was a child. When Martin was very young his mother died and his father eventually remarried, gaining Martin not only a step-mother, but a step-sister as well, named Diana. A good portion of Martin's time is spent picking on his sister, but if she finds herself in trouble (which she often does) Martin is the first person to dive in to save her and vice versa, and although they bicker almost constantly, they care very deeply about each other

[ Personality ] : Martin is the class clown from highschool you always wanted to slap; He's loud, he's irreverent, he's obnoxious, he's lazy, his ego's the size of a small continent, and if you're female and pretty, consider yourself hit on. He can also be selfish and petty and isn't above cheating if he thinks it will help him get what he wants. That's not to say he's all bad of course-as insufferably irritating as he can be, if you're in trouble he'll be the first person to jump in and help, and if you're feeling a bit daring, it's probably safe to say that you can you can trust him with your life...just maybe not your secrets or your girlfriend or your stuff

[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] : Strengths: Martin is pretty average when it comes to physical prowess. Dodging demons and monsters and ghoulies and beasties on a pretty regular basis, along with many hours spent mastering such video game classics as 'Swamp Creature IV' has upped his agility and reaction time to a pretty decent level, and while he's not big on sports unless it involves his skateboard or impressing a pretty girl, he has been known to hit the gym (not just for the hot gym bunnies either) and he keeps himself pretty well up on his game. Mentally, despite what his below average grades may say, Martin can be rather clever, when the situation calls for it, and he has a strong intuition, which has time and time again earned him his spot in The Center. He's also rather good at breaking and entering and covert trespassing. He's been known to cast a few spells too, but he needs an instruction book or some other kind of item with its own magic he can borrow for the spell, as he has no overt magical ability of his own. [ Other Important Facts ] : Mmm, expect Martin to be annoying. He specializes in it.
[ Sample ] : It was late, but Martin didn't want to put his game controller down. He only had a few more levels to beat before he finally faced the last boss of the game! If he didn't die more than three times between then and now, he'd beat the official high score!
Tongue pressed tightly between his teeth, shoulders hunched and eyes focused intently on the screen, Martin was the very picture of focus and concentration.
You have a math test in the morning, you idiot! a small part of his brain (the one that sounded not a little like Diana, and, therefore, was easily ignored)screamed at him. You need to study! One third of your grade depends on it!
It was fine, he told that nagging little voice. It was late, but not that late. He had plenty of time to beat the game and still take a quick peek at his book before he had to go to bed
