The Holy Grail

So, anyone who's been out of school for awhile has that one friend, that one extra special friend that they have completely lost track of over the years that they would give almost anything to find. Mine is a high school friend. Without going into too much detail, let me just say that this is a person without whom I feel like there is a huge hole ( Read more... )

Come on... sing it. "Know when to walk away, know when to run..."

I agree with the above poster. Brace yourself for the possibility that this person would've been better left unfound. On the other hand, it could be just like picking up where you left off - her absence merely a skip in the long playing soundtrack of your life. I hope that turns out to be the case. :)

It's a gamble, but I don't think that's going to stop you!! Is this the person from high school that you've told me about?

Yeah, I'm really good, actually. Things went well...at least as welll as could possibly be expected at this point. I'd be better if I had some customers today, but that's a bit off topic ;)

When you ask a question long enough, sometimes you get sort of used to asking it and become afraid of the answer

Jen, can I just say that you have a PERFECT way with words!? I can totally understand why you want to see this person. I have become disconnected from SOOO many people that meant so much to me at one time, and still do. I always fear spending time with them because I don't want things to be different, since we are older and may have changed and have nothing in common anymore. Where did you go to High School by the way!? I remember you telling me during MFL that you lived around here growing up because you had done station stuff. I wish you luck in finding her and I hope things are wonderful when you do!
