DS9 - Thoughts on season 7

Your post reminds me how much I'd like to go back and do a re-viewing of DS9 at some point... it's been ages since I've been able to watch it on a regular basis and there's so much I don't remember (I do remember liking "In the Pale Moonlight," though). Alas, it's going to have to wait a while, since I just dropped a hefty chunk of cash for the entire TNG series - which I also need to finish re-viewing. ;) Hmm. I suppose I could download or Netflix it...

Sorry for the late reply.

I liked TNG, but found the characters in DS9 to be more diverse and complex. In TNG, most characters are unfortunately very static plus everyone on Picard's crew is usually right/morally superior. I loved Picard though; regarding guest stars Q and Lwaxana Troi were my favorites - they always stirred up things very nicely.

IMO, TNG also got better and better with each season whereas DS9 had its highlights earlier and then lost a lot of its charm. But that's my personal opinion and I'm sure other people feel differently.
