In honor of NTD, i'd like to pay tribute to some of my favorite teachers -- they changed my life for the better

and thank you to teachers who take enough interests in their students to actually find ways to reach them when the stadard fare isn't doing it. I am especially grateful to my 5th grade teacher who knew I needed tough love to excel. She helped me learn to focus and it made all the difference in my studies moving forward.

And a round of applause to you. I could never cut it as a teacher. I admire that you have the strength and enthusiasm to share your knowledge and encourage thinking. Cheers!
