this is why i have been hesitant for the last 20 years to call my self a lesbian, i say queer 1) to piss feminists off, 2) lesbian has become a political stand.

i had audited a University course at the University of Toronto must be more than 20 years ago , and for fun and thinking i would fuck a professor, i sat in a few of the Womens' study classes. i heard bantorings from women that would call themselves' lesbian identified, i fuck men, live with men i blow men and i have children by men, but i identify with the lesbian politic.
i knew i was in trouble i had to reclaim a new name for us queers then and there... LOL
