OWWW. That doesn't sound like an impact injury, but it also doesn't sounds like a tendon injury either. You say it's swollen? Where, precisely, does it hurt (bone, tendon, joint, between toes, instep edge, top, sole, where?) What happens if you try to move a toe a little bit? Trying to rule out possibilities here.

One more reason why I owe you a nice LOOOOONG back rub the next time I wind up in Omaha (or you end up in Lincoln).

Wow, hello! lol, I didn't expect a reply from anyone, let alone soon. =)
How are you? Good to hear from you. ^^

Good point you brought up. It's the ball of my right foot that hurts so much. It's were the swelling is too. If someone were to get a hold of my big toe and the toe beside it in one hand, and the rest of my toes in the other hand and wiggled them up and down in opposite directions, that would cause the most excruciating pain that I have yet suffered in my life. I'm pretty lucky though. =) Of course, walking using the ball of my foot would suck also. I've spent three weeks now walking on the side of my foot instead. I've gotten so used to it that my foot turns inward naturally when I walk now.

There is no discoloration. *shrug* Maybe it is a muscle thing.
