I read that yesterday and subjected David to 40 minutes of "OH MY GOD this was the last bit of info I needed and now that last bit makes sense!!!!!"

thankfully he'd listened to the whole final book on CD (read by stephen fry!) on the way to and from Burning Man so he actually understood what I was babbling about.
