What a FANTASTIC job you've done here. Bravo! You've managed to outline so beautifully what makes this show a classic. I'm totally impressed.

Wow, thank you! I wanted to give some space to the slash, but also (and mainly) to the fact that this IS an awesome little show, not only because of the wonderful two actors :) There are so many other assets to take in consideration!

Hee, lovely! You caught it all! The only thing I'll nitpick on here is that Starsky asks, "You mean, that was the case between John and...?" rather than stating it. :)

This is an AMAZING post! Wow! What a lot of work, thought and detail.

S&H was my first TV love and I recently bought ALL the DVD's and I have now watched them all again. So much love. And it's fantastic to see it all laid out here.

The slashy goodness is amazing. I think "Coffin for Starsky " is one of my favourites. The h/c in that episode is incredible. The chemistry between these two is remarkable and quite frankly one of the major reasons why it was so successful.

And all those famous guest stars! \o/

It wasn't my fist tv-love (that was XF), but it is mt strongest for sure :) a coffin for Starsly is completely ridiculous...I realised when I was capping it! LOL
They are practically always wrapped around each other. And the 'pal' line still makes me tear up a little.
And remember Danny De Vito and Melanie Griffith? Among the others? They were at their first times on screen I think :D

It happened that I stumbled upon the DVDs a month ago, after years, put them in the player and I was hooked again!

S&D are totally good and appropriate ;)
