I'm very excited . . . but I really need to figure out how to load pics onto LJ . . . cuz u see, FAQ's don't really help me. Call me crazy, but they never do! So who wants to help a sista out??

This is how you load up new pictures to show up on LJ. First, you need a place to "host" the picture, which means you need a place that'll keep your picture online 24/7. NYU Home will do that for you.

Log onto NYU Home and click on the "File" tab near the top on the right side of the screen. Select the folder, "public/html" and click on "open/get". Then you click on "upload" and then "browse" for a picture on your computer.

Once upload is complete, you have to tinker with the HTML in your journal entries. When you type an entry and want a picture to be uploaded type the following, but replace all asterisks (*) with left bracket(<) and all ampersands (&) with rijght brackets
