This morning my grandma took me out for lunch. Yes, morningtime for lunch. She got to my house at 10:40am. I woke up at 10 this morning....so yes, it was breakfast. And where did we go? Anchor Inn. lol..you should have just told her. i know your mom is giving you a hard time. but don't deny your happiness over little things. i know it puts pressure on you because you want your mom to like people you like. but you don't have to hide the fact you got a boyfriend. if your proud of him, then let people know. there are a lot of qualities that people have that have nothing to do with education, wealth, or anything of that matter.

but i'm not dr. phill and i'm not gonna go on and on about it. cause i know you've actually broken "nicole's rules to date by" by even dating him. lmao...

despite what you think, I really do appreciate the advice u give me :) especially with your guest appearances in my LJ and all...it becomes that much more special! lmao

but for real, I called my mom in like September and told her about him. and then when I came home this time, she acted like I never brought him up before. so when I told her that he was my boyfriend, she started acting all funny towards me! I think it's b/c she doesn't like him. So the next day I had to actually tell her that he's not really my bf...just kinda. And I think that made her feel better...pretty bad huh?

that sounds like something my grandma will say to me.. "you aint no lesbo is ya.." and i'd be like no, mama, then she'd be all, "den why u aint got yourself one yet?"and i'd be like, "you dont understand"

shes from Bermuda by the way so she got this thick ass accent along with this southern drawl, its funny to hear her speak..

what part of Jamaica? I'm not really sure on the part my grandma was raised in. She always says "the country". somewhere in Kingston, I'm almost positive.
