Grace presses her palms to the cool porcelain edges of the bathroom sink and stares into the mirror; her eyes sweep across her reflected features and she frowns a little.

The creases on her forehead weren't that prominent yesterday, were they?

And is that a gray hair?!

She makes a strangled sort of noise as her fingertips trace hectic patterns across her face and through her hair, and when she notices another familiar reflection appear silently next to her own, she drops her hands defeatedly back to the sides of the sink and sighs.

"What's wrong, Grace?" Sam asks, his yellow eyes dancing with worry as he wraps his arms around his wife's small waist. He rests his chin on her scarred shoulder and presses his left cheek against her right.
